Glove Compartment
Does anyone else have a problem shutting your glove compartment door??? If i sit in the drivers seat and shut it, it will fall right back down. I took everything out and tested it with ease and with some force, it would not shut. Took it too the dealership(to get the spoiler on) and mentioned it to them. He proceeded to tell me that I need to shut it from the right side. Sure enough I sat in the passenger seat cause my arm doesnt reach that far and shut it with no problem. I thought this was a tad bit odd. It shuts each and every time that i put force on the right side. Just wondering if im the only one with a backwards compartment
I sure will look stupid when I get pulled over by a cop to get my registration and cant shut my compartment.

I kinda have that problem, not to that severity, but i noticed that if i try to close it easily, it wont close, but if i shut it hard it will close. Guess all this is in it for 35k...not liking it too much!!

I'm guessing that you guys have a newer production TL, like I do. There were complaints earlier in the production runs about the glove compartment door rattling.
Since I am seeing the same thing you guys are, and I just picked up my TL (29xxx), I'll bet the tighter glove compartment door fit is a recent modification by Acura to fix the previous rattling problem. Acura does appear to listen to customer complaints.
So, be happy! You have one less problem than many other folks!

Due to cosmetic concerns the glove compartment is not balanced, ergo, the weight favors one side. If you push it on the side that has the greatest weight it will latch the best. Yes, the dash is cool but the design makes the glove compartment a little odd (at least it has one!).
