Getting scratches and nicks out of car.

I have the black pearl, and I just got it waxed today. I had some scratches that I had for a couple of weeks in their now . The guy who waxed my car said that I should get it buffed, but I wanted to see what other options work as well. I was wondering what everyone else does to get their scratches out. In addition, would it cover up cracked paint chips on the hood as well. Thanks for your help..

i thik this should be more for the gurus that lurk around in the wash and wax section. Anyway, how deep are the scratches and nicks? Also heres a link to proper chip repair

Since you live in So Cal, check this link out and come to Meguiar's on Nov. 11th to learn proper techniques from the pro to keep your car shinny like show car. Not everyone has the chance to attend such class.

There is a link in my web site in the dropdowns to fixing nicks etc and if you can catch a fingernail in the scratch you won't have a lot of luck buffing it out ..

Wash and Wax will be the best place for your question as a lot of detail-oriented members hang there.
