Getting ready for our new addition

Well just got her spot nice and clean for our new baby coming either in 2 weeks or sometime in september in which that will be an 05

I used the rustoleum epoxyshield

This is the before. I hit it with the pressure washer then went over it with the cleaner inclueded in the kit

This is right after I finished the left side I did the right 2 days ago and looks good. You can still see some wet marks from the overlapping but this goes away in about 12 hours.

This is a close up of the floor. I addes some (SKID TEK) anti slip material to it so its not slippery at all when wet.

The kits were 49.99 each at lowes. It takes a little less than 2 kits to do a 2 car garage. 1 coat is all you need. The hardest part of the whole job was moving my crap from one side of the garage then back then back again. The reason is that your not suppose to put heavy items on the new epoxy for 24-48 hours. So I did 1 half then the other som I had to move some boxes. Id say the whole job took me about 6 hours. You first spray the floor out and clean greese and oil spots with a good oil cleaner. I used simple green since I only had a couple. Then you spray that off. Squegee the floor and use their cleaner/etching salution very mild wont kill the grass. Do the whole garage if your able. Let it dry for 12-14 hours. If everything is dry. Mix the epoxy cutin around the walls then roll in 4x4 sections sprinkle the chips if you want them if not just leave it gray. Then your finished.

Very nice job!

I'll probably do the same thing some day when I can afford to build a 2 1/2 car garage to replace my 1 1/2 car garage.

Regards,

Hmm . . . I didn't even notice that!

Of course everyone knows PNC Park is the coolest park in the Major Leagues!

I stand corrected. I wasn't sure if the poster was new enough to be PNC, so I took a guess at 3 rivers.

BTW, I didn't mean to hijack the thread. Nice job on the garage.
