I have a question guys, will an 07 bumper and left fender fit my 04 tl?

i know they are both 3G TL but i wanted to know if its just a plug and play deal? or is there other things i have to buy?

also the lip kit is from an 05, i suppose it doesnt matter ?

the bumper dimensions are the same for the 3G.
so, whatever year you buy it will mount up with the correct mounting holes and what not.

the only thing that is different is the GRILLES!

you're looking to buy
-Center A- Bar (comes with the A and the center bar)
-the honeycomb grille that goes behind the A-bar.
-the V-trim
-the Lower honey comb grilles with fog light openings.
-and lastly the two fogs itself.

a bumper does not come painted.
a bumper can be bought from the acura dealer for about $250.
to get it painted would be about $250.

All in all, you'll be spending about a grand to 1200 dollars.

Found a clis ad, oem bumper and left fender for 600$ (unpainted)

and a lip kit for 400$ (unpainted)

i was asking if the lip kit was just plug and play, but searched the forums and it seems that way!

may sound dumb but i dont want the bumper fogs, do they sell the bumper inserts w/o fog light openings?

a full lip kit? if you're going with an older style lip kit with a newer style bumper, it wont necessarily be plug and play.

No, they do not sell the lower grilles with out the fog openings.
this is an OEM bumper. which means any thing that came OEM will be there. like the fogs.

it seems like you want to mix and match a lot of different kinds of things.
only the 07 bumper and fender are going to be a plug and play deal.
if you get the 05 lip kit, you'll have to modify the front of the lip kit to fit with the 07 bumper.

further more, you can retrofit your old 04 lower grilles to fit on the newer styled bumper. but again this means cutting and fitting and playing and measuring.

To get 07-08 type s aspec you'll need the 07-08 front bumpers to do it. It's the easiest way and everything will be plug and play. You'll also need quad exhaust I at least tips and foglights

I did the whole thing. Front And rear type-s bumpers and aspec kit, type-s exhaust and front grill trim AND foglights. Love it.
