General questions before I start playing with TL
I have an 07 Carbon Bronze Pearl that i plan on working on this weekend. Lowering springs(H&R Sport), wheels(XXR 530), stereo(ZEnclosure), headlight modification(paint the chrome black), transmission 3x3 and some other stuff. i have a few question before i start.
1. Do the Grills on an 04-06 fit a 07-08. Mainly the middle bar, want to buy a chrome one. Found one for 04-06.
2. Do i need to have a resistor when i replace the turn signal bulbs with led ones in the headlight housing? dont want to do the switchback mod, just switch to LED
3. Do i need to have a resistor when i relace the fog lamp with an LED one. If so why
4. Does the A-Spec lip for an 04-06 fit on an 07-08?
5. on an 07-08. Whats the difference between a Type-S bumper and a base bumper. Seems the same to me. only difference i notice is when its an A-Spec.

1) no, the middle bar is a different size and will not fit between the 04-06 and 07-08's
4)the 04-06 aspec lip will take a little bit of customization for it to fit on the 07-08s
5) the fog light area is shaped different. one slopes towards the wheels and the other slopes towards the front.

1. No 04-06 grill will not fit a 07/08. It is smaller.
2. Yes, you can buy load resistors and splice them to the turn signal wires, or perform the relay resistor mod. If not, they will hyperblink.
3. No resistor needed. Remove and replace old bulb with H8 LED bulb.
4. The 04-06 base rear lip fits on the 07/08 base.
All A-Spec sideskirts are the same, 04-08.
The 04-06 front lip can be slightly modified to fit on a 07/08 bumper.
5. Rear bumper: Type-S bumper has a honeycomb trim garnish, where base has lines.
Exhaust ports are widened to allow the quads on the Type-S.
Type-S bumper also has more flare added to it.
