Hi,

I just built a Gear Ratio and Tire size spreasheet for my Acura TL. I also have a CRV so you can see the numbers. Basically I relate, RPM, Tire Size, and Speed all together with this spreadsheet.

This lets me:
1. Contrast the RPMs of the 6MT TL to other cars for relative highway fuel economy, and engine wear.
2. See how the effects of a different tire size will affect the speedometer reading and how much curb rash I'll avoid by fitting my rims with different wheels.
3. Make sense of the reccomended shift speeds as relates to RPM.
4. Plug in numbers at different Speeds to see what RPMs you'll be at.
5. Waste lots of time playing with numbers because I'm a Nerd.
