Gaps in Front/Rear Spoilers???

I recently picked up my 2004 TL w/the full spoiler kit. There are gaps in the fit of the spoiler to the body of the vehicle in the front spoiler and the rear spoiler. The dealer recommended using double-sided tape to have it mold/fit to the body of the vehicle.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what have you done to fix this - - or is this something that you just live with??

Re: Gaps in Front/Rear Spoilers???

I would think it should not happen in any 04TL, however, there is one A-Spec car having the same problems in the dealer showroom for a month. That dealer never tries to fix it...

Take pictures and post them, if you are able to.

I started a thread on this a couple months ago. I had the same problem. Apparently, it was mostly in the front right side of the nose. Brought the car back and they put a new spoiler on. I don`t know if they still replace them, but using 3M double sided tape is what is used on the panels also. Try using long tweezers to position the tape in the area and use a clamp for a while to keep it in place.
