He must have saw me gun it past a few cars

I take the right lane and let off the skinny pedal as he comes to my left.
I see a girl with her phone out and counting down with her fingers.


"oh shit, its go time" were my thoughts.

I had the jump at 80mph and although he was right beside me, he never gained.



we did it a few times with the same results.


I'll have to check the G37 forums and youtube to see if they posted it.

328hp sedan/330hp coupe, gotta see the video! Sedan or coupe? These VQ37VHR are quick with mid 13's and 102-105 trap stock. From a roll, you may had the adantage from less drive train loss if it was an AWD.

Definitely believable. The coupes are slower than the sedans. Lots of RWD coupes out there running 13.90-14.10 @ 100-102. They're making ~280 whp, but they're porky at 3700 lbs for the RWD. AWD weighs 3800+ and probably makes a little less at the wheels. Add to that even a skinny 100 lb passenger, and it's no surprise a 250 whp TL at 3400 lbs could hang.

You got it backwards. They collect more steam at top end. It's the first 3 gears that are not so close. But this has been remedied with the later model G37 7 speed tranny.

TL 6MT doesn't weigh 3400 lbs. They are at around 3475 without the NAV.

I think you raced the 2008 model coupe automatic which is the slowest Infiniti G line ever produced. Do you have mods on your car? What are they?

And you could have slowed down more to check the back of the car....

I don't have to own the G to know everything about the car. It's just that I have more experience with the cars than you do as you spend most time on internet, hence the ridiculously high post count.

What I am talking about is true. Not all G owners know their car. It's funny I go around and correct them how their cars work.

I know the IS350 has larger brakes but you misunderstood the whole thing. I was saying not everybody on the street knows the difference between the IS350 and 250. Looking at both cars they look same to them. They have to get behind the car to read what model is says. You sound very young. Are you really 26?

You admitted that you don't know exactly what Infiniti model you raced in this thread. That's why I am telling you maybe you raced the 2008 coupe automatic? Because you can tell an auto from a manual from the outside of the car on the highway going 60mph? I'd love to know how you know that from just looking at the outside of the car. And don't say BBK because all of the sport packages (auto and manual) have them.
