g37 sedan at the track and dyno vids

finally got to go to the drag strip in my g37 for the first time it was sucha rush very fun my best time was 13.5@102.9 with 2.1 second 60' time

car is a fairly stock 7at g37 sport sedan only mods are stillen dual intakes and meisterschaft axle back. did all my runs in DS Mode and i was also running with 19" rims on. my car weighed in at 3600lbs without driver

just for comparison there was a stock 335i coupe running 13.5 seconds consistently

the time i hit 13.5 i was racing a brand new mustang 5.0 with drag slicks and dont know if he was stock he smoked me so bad at 12.4@109

I also got a chance to race my buddies genesis 5.0 rspec. everytime we raced we were about a tenth of a second apart. his fastest time was 13.6. but he didn't brake torque or take traction off I know he can do lil better.

have to still get the videos from him. now I have the full catback exhaust and I hope to hot 13.4 or maybe 13.3

I also dyno my car on a dynojet made 305whp and 255wtq 4th gear pull. when I had stillen gen 3 intakes and axleback

The 60 ft has nothing to do with reaction time. Clock starts when you break the beam. For a better reaction time learn to work the last yellow light. Leaving some place on that light will cancel out your normal reaction time.

Takes a bit of work to figure it out but once you do even a slow launching car can hole-shot a poorly driven quick one.

It's isn't really Infiniti that is going to cover it, just the dealer that you have install it. Even then, they're only going to put the car back to stock. They're not going to repair it, s/c and all, knowing that it will most likely blow again (this has already happened to a few people). They were lucky it was repaired at all (as Stillen's tune wasn't working after numerous retunes, had to run someone else's tune).

The GTM kit is the most reliable of the two, also looks cleaner (by far).

Good runs, dude. You're in Canada, eh?

13.5 is great for your first time out. I'm sure you will improve. Berk is good, the ART pipes are awesome as well.

Not happening. Infiniti won't cover the damage done by Stillen parts. The two companies aren't related.

Your 1/4 mile ET and MPH is spot on for the given conditions density altitude conditions (sea level track, 50-55 degree air, 30 baro, low humidity). The Dynojet numbers seem about 10% higher than the norm for a basically stock VQ37. Every dyno is different though. Keep using that one to gauge gains/losses.

As for the rasp and HFCs, you'll have it no matter what HFC you go with. Your catback will only amplify the issue. Take it from a guy that modded VQ motors for 14 years.
