Was heading to a local AcuraZine meet on Saturday and had a run with a 1G G35 5AT Sedan with wheels and sounded like light bolt-ons such as exhaust, etc.

As I headed towards the onramp on the freeway, I could tell he wanted to run based on how he passed the car behind me and how close he was on my tail. I downshift to 2nd and we ran from 35-110 and I put roughly 4 car lengths on him til shutting down. He gave me the thumbs up and went on his merry way.

No doubt it would have been closer had he caught me in the wrong revs, S2000s have absolutely nothing until 6000rpm. .

Yeah, was offered a good price on it and got my S2000 a week later.

This is a car I've wanted to own since it came out and made it happen - no regrets. Definitely not the fastest car, but RWD sure is fun.

 

I remember that feeling. Enjoy it bro!

I think I'm holding onto this one for awhile - car is just too much fun.
