G35 gone
Got rid of the G35, the brembos wouldnt stop squealing, along with other problems which were driving me crazy. I guess the TL spoiled me.

How could you? It's the greatest car known to man! Wait until One Sick Lex finds out. You're dead meat (or maybe he'll force you to be seen inside an ES330....ewww.)

Ali - I traded in my '03 G35/6MT for my TL. Got a really sweet deal seeing the G35 was only 6 months old. Outstanding car!
By any chance did you check the G35 forums? There were a LOT of posts about squeeking Brembos, and I think there were some fixes that seemed to work.
My .02. TL still a GREAT ride all the way around.

I did it too....
I traded a 2003 G35 Coupe with the Performance Wheel and Tire package cuz I couldnt TAKE it anymore as a daily driver... BEAUTIFUL car, but cheap interior, noisy, and 6 $400 plus tires in 15 months was NOT making me happy-- my beautiful Abyss/Camel TL is a MUCH better choice for me right now-- SO smooth and just as responsive, though honest-- the FWD is NOT the same as the G for handling-- but for me, an effective trade off since I had to RENT A CAR everytime a snowflake fell with the G.. just my two cents

Anyway, I like the interior of the coupe because the seats are low and it makes everything accessible to my arms. The TL sits too high and takes away from the sportiness. I really want a TL for my girl though but she wants an auto...gotta see if that tranny holds up first.

I, too, traded my 2003 G35 Coupe-Leather (Auto) with the Tire and Aero packages for my TL. The G35 was my third Infiniti (previously had a trouble-free 2000 G20t and a trouble-free 2001 QX4). However, I had numerous problems with the G35 -- squealing brakes, inoperable fuel door, cracked passenger side window due to the "drop-down" feature, oil leak after the first oil change...the list could go on and on. I considered a 2004 G35, as I had already purchased another 4-door (2004 Maxima). However, I was so dissatisfied with the customer service that I received from my area Infiniti dealership. As a result, I left the Infiniti family alone. I even considered selling my Maxima because I was so pissed with Nissan/Infiniti (however, the Maxima has been trouble-free).
I'm glad to know that I wasn't the only one who made the choice to get rid of the G35 and go over to Acura.

I am not you tool. I am uneasy on the new ES looks too and it is not the greatest car on earth like you feel about your TL.
Now please, go crawl back into your test-tube.
