Is this a question? If so, then yes, because you have to run the power wire through this area to the trunk. Not sure how you can do it without taking the back seats out.

the DIY looks too difficult for my mind haha. how about you drive your car down here and do it for me.

AND one quick stupid question, this mod is the same as E-127: DIY Reverse Lights Switch (Tailgater switch) correct?

Not sure if any other HID bulb will fit, but the H3 is the smallest HID bulb out there, so it is the only bulb I would try. Gives space between the bulb and the lens.

lol.. Not going to drive there unless you pay me 10000 dollars lol .. or maybe half of that.. lol ..

No this DIY is different, but they should be done at the same time since they require you to remove the same parts of the car. The tailgater switch is just for those who want to be able to turn on their reverse lights whenever they want. This DIY is just for those who want to have rear HIDs. Combine both mods for a sick combo!

haha. how about $50 + a juice box?

They look the same to me for some reason. It just looks like instead of wiring it to reverse, you wire it to a switch. BUT I don't know. Like i said before, i am clueless when it comes to wiring

I'm going to be doing this mod in the next week or two. I think enough dust has collected on the hid kit and relay.

The damn relay has like 6 wires and no real instructions. I'm sure I'll figure it out. When I do I'll post some pics and a short DIY.

um your just teasing me with that PSP mod. your going to have to do a DIY for that. i have my psp just collecting dust and i think i need to put it to use! haven't touched it since i stopped traveling for work.

Also this will probably be my next mod. the way ive been dealing with tailgators is by spraying them with my windshield wiper fluid. lol last guy i did it to got so mad he tried to run me off the road. he was some asshole in a range rover. looked like the dude just washed it too.

i think i need a timer regardless because i have an automatic. i go through R when I put it in drive and when i put it back in park. bzyrice said something about it being bad for the bulbs to be on and off for such a short time i think.
