No, it's not a WDP thing. It's a matter of taste. I don't think yellow would look good with every TL color.

This should work with the 2004 Accord fog light mod right?

As long as you have the space between the fogs and bumper it should work.

All TL's have fogs . 04-06 have them in the headlights, next to the low beams. Newer years have them in the bumper. I have a SSM 05 TL and I bought Nokya 2500K bulbs to put in my fogs and it looks pretty damn good !

Awesome!! Yes, there is a gap between the fogs and bumper, enough to fit the plexiglas into. Glad you like it!!

I hope the film doesn't burn.

How were you guys cutting the acrylic to fit? I would think its fairly hard to cut acrylic precisely by hand since its rather brittle.

Heres the 6th revision of one I laser cut, should slide right in and fit snug without moving. I'll try it out later today.

I did cut mine by hand. It was a bit hard and not precise. But the edges don't show, so it looks clean. Of course a laser cut would be nice.

The light output is REALLY yellow. More yellow than the 3000K HID kits I had years ago, and way more yellow than colored bulbs.

It definitely looks a bit dimmer than stock, but its probably the best solution if you want really yellow light without the hassles of a HID kit or hard to find bulbs.

I put it in without removing the bumper, just removed 2 10mm bolts and a plastic clip, moved the plastic deflector out of the way, and pressed the big tab on the back of the fog light shroud up while pulling it out. About a 10 minute job.

It's simple to cut out some more, but I only had a little 12"x12" sheet, and its not big enough to cut 2 pairs out of. Next time I order acrylic I will add some yellow 1/8" stuff in bigger sheets. Probably a week or two.

Yes, it's very yellow and because of the deeper yellow, it's a little dimmer but still has great light output. Nice work But for me it's also the added protection from rocks and such. A yellow tint film doesn't offer this kind of protection.

^^^^With the sheet I bought, I had enough to make two sets. It guess it depends on how you cut it. Like most things there are a couple of cons, one the yellow will be yellow with or without the fogs being on. And two, water can ger between the plexiglas and fog light. This won't hurt the fogs but you'll just see the water in there until it dries. It's not like a headlight or tail light. The water dries quickly as it's open.

^thanks for the heads up. i got the 1/8 thickness so maybe a lil more gap in there will let it drain better. no biggy to me. i actually opted to get the grey "smoked" transparent color instead of yellow. i love the yellow but i have the ASM color code and only like yellow on white and black cars. so i think silver car with smoked fogs would look good. ill post pics of the install! thanks for the awesome idea!!

Nice, I'm sure the smoke will look awesome on your ASM TL. Yes, please post up some pics when your done. I'm sure others would love to see this new idea and perhaps go with smoke instead of yellow.
