FYI: Our Battery has a 4 year warranty (full replacement)
Just so you know. I went to our New Owners clinic and talked to the SM. And he showed us the info from Acura that on the newer TL's, RL's, not sure what years exactly, but they have a 4 year full replacement non-prorated warranty!!
So the guys who are buying replacements shouldn't be!

I just called Acura. the battery has a 2 year full replacement warranty. After that it is prorated liek stated above. My battery is in the 25-36 month range which means they would pay for half of the battery, but I pay for install. so the battery was 85 bucks meaning I'd pay 42.50 for that and 39 bucks to install it. I'm just going to buy an Interstate battery for 90 and put it in myself, that way I know it will last.

I had a Eagle Talon (turbo ) which caught fire in the engine compartment. After the fire was put out, I went to unlock my doors with my remote... Click, they opened and the dome light turned on.
The fire melted the sparkplug wires to nothing, did some crazy stuff to my battery, but it still had enough juice to unlock the doors.
I have never bought a non-optima battery since then. Speaking of that. I bought a 34R (poles are swapped as in our Acuras) from Summit Racing last week... 130 buxs. Not one moment of regret.
