why give plastikman credit for quoting? that idiot obviously has no clue about cars. For all, he probably owns a SRT4 and thinks he's faster than a viper.

Go to a dodge dealer and ask them if a SRT4 can outrun the viper from 0-60, they will tell you it can, thats how I knew about it. I dont race, but I know that lil thing is fast. Like I said though I love my TL.

i know it's crazy but i don't care what anyone says a viper is a beast! i was messing with a red one the other day... we were like 80... in like 3 seconds he got tired of me pushing him the guys zigzaged and dissapeared.... i don't care what anyone says.. after 60 the viper fukin hauls mega ass!

I def. would not rock a SRT-4. It may be fun to drive but I would rather drive a luxury car.

Well you are both wrong about the SRT 4 vs. the viper. NUMBERS DONT LIE. Your dodge dealer might have htough he had a better chance at selling you a 20k car then an 80k car. No one in there right mind would spend 60k more for a car with a top speed slightly faster being the only benefit(when dealing with cars at this price level, when your are into the 400k pust then they would, but when you start at 20k?!)

The Viper turns 4 second 0-60 times in the real world. I had an Acura TL Type S, and I own a silver SRT4. Anyone thinking a SRT4 will outrun a Viper should put the crack-pipe down

As for comparing apples to oranges for some of the forum members who are "Acura snobs" the Dodge SRT4 is built for price/performance ratio and given the 22 grand sticker, there isn't a car that will out-accelerate it. Next jump up is 25 grand, where the Mustang GT stick comes in. No one who owns one is thinking they're "out-blinging" anyone: its just a fun cheap set of wheels, and yes, (to the Acura owners who look down on them) it will leave you in the dust. Just get your car washed after; you still have a nice ride. Slower, but nice
