Fuel induction service
Fuel induction service
Last time I had my car in for maintenance at Radley Acura in Northern Virginia they recommended I get a fuel induction service for $170. Has anyone heard of this service or had it done? What is it supposed to do? Or is this a way for the service department to make some extra money?

The maintenance schedules (A, B and 1-5) do not contain any fuel induction or injection service, so it's a way for the service department to make money without helping you or your car.
When in doubt, ask what the work entails-- "what does the tech do??" If the words like "clean" or "sanitizes" come up, I'd ask "how"?
See the gen 2 thread "Seafoamed the ol TL" and do it yourself at home.
Same chemical solvent the machines use- you just put it in the tank AND in the intake manifold VAC line
direct to the trouble
All cars should have this done every 15k miles or less
