Red face Front Spolier Extra Parts

- Disclaimer - I searched for a bit on the forums for a DIY or help on this question, so if this has been asked before, minimal flames please -

I purchases the stock front 'spolier' kit for my '04 Acura TL MT. Everything went on perfect, except that I have two hard plastic pieces and some extra screws and clips. My kit did not come with instructions and I could not find any info in my Acura tech manual (the big Helms one) to help.

Does anybody know where the two curved black plastic panels (about 3.5 inch by 2 inch with a curve and two holes for the plastic 'clip' holder) go?

Thanks in advance...

welcome to the forums. the part youre talking about goes under the front bumper so you can attach the lip to it. heres a DIY (do it yoruself) write up thats pretty straight forward and easy.

good luck!

Thanks kindly. Now I know where to put the thing (unfortunetly after I put the spoiler front on). Any idea what specifically these 'covers' are for? I cannot see what functionally, support or athetics that they provide.

From what I can see by looking at the instructions, they are there to provide some extra support to the lip, so when you hit a curb, it doesn't flex and end up ripping out the screws/clips.
