On Sylvania's site for automotive bulb replacement it says a 168 bulb is used in the front sidemarker of a 2005 TL - is this true? I thought the sidemarkers were LED??

 

^^ 168s are only used for the license plate and trunk light, that is what the site says as well, for the side markers (both front and rear) LED lights are used.

If you are talking about the turn signal/parking light bulbs in the headlights then those are 7443 bulbs.

 

our sidemarkers are LED... the only way to replace it is to either buy a strip and do some cutting to the factory housing or buy new sidemarkers
