I have a quick question.

What exactly is the point of the small left and right covers that are included with the kit?

Is it necessary to drill a pair of holes and install it before putting on the main piece?

 

I don't know... but I think you should take lots of pics and write up a DIY when you are done

 

i installed mine myself and i believe its there to make the airflow better and not get caught up in the stock bumper. and yes, you have to drill holes to put those in if i remember correctly.
