Lightbulb front lip...

I'm considering just purchasing the front lip spoiler on the TL... do you guys think it'll look okee? the side skirts, IMO dont make much of a difference.

It should look good. I was actually thinking about doing this on my TL but decided to wait and go with the whole kit. Since the front lip is just that... a lip spoiler... it should look good by itself

it might look good by itself but the kit as a whole looks great too.

It would look ok. But they are really meant to go together. Before and after the front wheels the contours of the kit match up. Same with the rear wheels. If you don't do the sides and rear as well, the contours will not match up. I installed the entire kit myself. It's easy and I wouldn't skip any pieces if I were to do it again. Just my 2 cents. Kit can be had for $839 online.

Here in Vancouver BC, they charge roughly around $600 cdn including install. So that is roughly around $470 US.

Hey dude, I thought the same thing so....I now have JUST the front lip spoiler. Looks great! I'll try to post some pics soon. BTW I installed it myself. Its not too hard, but you need the correct tools and a couple of jacks. Oh yea and a friend to help.

I hope I'm not the only one, but I don't like the front lip of the 04 TL. I like the side skirts and the rear.

I'm waiting for wingwest or another body kit maker to make a different front lip or entire bumper.

Bitium,

I'm with you. I'm not too huge a fan of the front lip - I actually think that's the weakest part of the whole package. I wish we could get a package that gives the car a more aggressive look. One of the reasons it's difficult may be due to the snoot we have on the car. The 3 series BMW's have some sweet skirts and add-ons that give them a really aggressive look.

I too agree, the front isn't all that great.. but i wudn't expect anything more than that for an OEM piece.

I emailed Wings West asking if they had any plans for the 04 TL. They said they're not thinking about the TL yet, but to check bak in a few months...

maybe we should ALL email WingsWest and ask for a kit for the 04 TL

http://www.acura-tl.com/forums/showt...threadid=73463

why didn't anyone respond to my thread about this?

I just purchased the front lip for $227.00 + $18.00 shipping from Norman Reeves Acura in California. I think the front lip by itself will make the car look very aggressive w/ my 18" Aspec rims, and as mentioned in my thread, if I don't like JUST the lip, i'll eventually get the other three pieces.

I would LOVE to see pics of the TL out there with ONLY the front lip on.
