Front license plate holder for A-SPEC

To all you A-spec owners.....how did you mount the front license plate holder? If you use the existing holes it hangs down too far over the added spoiler, do you just turn it upside down?

I'm not an A-Spec owner, but I do have the OEM kit. The dealer had installed my plates, and it does not hang below the front spoiler. My pics can be seen in my sig.

Maybe if you posted pics of your car, you can help me picture this better...

Even non-A-Spec owners have the same question - at least I did. On the non-A-Spec, if you set the holes at the top and screw it in, it hangs down too far. If you flip it upside down such that the 2 holes are at the bottom, there is nothing holding it at the top. I was told by Acura that at least on a non-A-Spec, the latter is the way to install it - that is, with the 2 holes at the bottom and nothing holding it at the top. I'm guessing the A-Spec install is similar.

Remove the two small hole plugs carefully, place the plastic mounting plate that you should have received from the dealer. Their will not be any screws on top portion, doesnt matter if its A-spec or not. Stop by the dealer and theyll do it in less than five minutes that way if they chip any paint their liable.
