I thought, this would never happen to me but... oh well, it just did. Some lady was going through the stop sign and stopped at the stop sign and then in the middle of intersection. Thinking she wasn't there anymore I rear-ended her.
No major damage, but bunch of scratches on my black 2005 Acura TL front bumper.
Anyone has idea how much to replace a front bumper?
Does it already come prepainted?
Any other advice? I tried polishing but it's scratched to deep and in too many places![Frown](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Thanks.

Cruisin'
It is going to be around $700.
Sorry to hear that. It happens, not the first time and probably not the last one.
The front bumper is around $350 and it is not pre-painted.
The labor is going to be another $350.

My TL is less than 2 weeks old and this meathead ran into it with the front of his Mustang on front bumper cover...going the wrong way while my car was parked at the office. All I heard was aloud crash and the lady in the front office scream "oh my God this guy just hit your new car"
The Acura dealer here in San Antonio quoted me approx $800 for a replacement front bumper cover, absorber (behind the cover), paint, and clearcoat...about 3-4 days to do it.
I'm taking mine in Monday.
Thank God he had insurance.
My ass is still chapped about the whole thing. I hope they can fix it good.

my mdx front bumper was about $800.
brought car in - they got the color code
ordered new bumper , painted b4 I brought the car back
called when painted - installed while I waited in about 2 hrs
paint matches fine and the new bumper even fits better the original
