2005?? scion tC 5sp - intake, exhaust, turbo'ed

a race amongst frens....the camera man shud be shot..lol but the 1st race was a 20mph roll....the altima wins, tl next and then scion...the vid shows other wise but the scion tops out so it gets passed..after 120

2nd race 40mph...as u can see this is the scions spot sweet spot but again top end it loses cuz of the gearing...same results altima, tl, scion

both outcome is above 130mph for the altima and tl..as you can see the scion is no joke tho..it just needs a gearbox from 40-120 its a lil beast lol

 

Scion held it's own as you said ... but at the end of the day you're driving the real luxury car .

yea it was a 3.5 se..i was juss told that the scion has axles, light weight fly wheel, street disc clutch, intake manifold spacers and other things done to it

them altimas is no joke wit a good driver...everytime we race its the same...i can hang wit em til about 100 after that its all over for me

 

yea, that altima is 6MT while his TL is 5AT, that's why. once he hits 4th he can't keep up. I thought the Altima would pull more from the beginning though.

 

am i seeing things or did the scion spanked both cars?

it's pretty clear to me that the scion was the faster car from the first race, it might've bogged off the initial start but it pulled back, didn't hear the altima letting off when the scion was creeping up

 

You're not seeing things. On the second race, the scion was walking/ near smoking both altima and TL. Even in the first race, the scion was walking the TL....weird to see a tC go that fast. I'll tell ya, if anything, that tC has gained my respect..and i'm not very fond of tCs...so that's saying something. Either way, it was a great video.

 

hell yea....they kinda tricked me tho...they sed the scion just had intake, exhaust, pulley, spacers, light weight fly wheel, they just happened to forget to mention that it was turbo'ed...i was like this was gonna be an easy win but i kinda knew something was up.. im thinkin a 50 shot dry nos kit wud even it out tho....but im not too sure on this...lol the last time i raced my frens stock 2000 s4 and walked on em and he came back a month later chipped and returned the favor...
