Question Found wires under passenger seat???

Can anyone tell me what these wires are. it looks as though they are similar to 3.5mm headphone plugs except there are 3 of them and one is yellow. also a 2 prong plug..my guess to power something. If this has already been covered i apologize as i could not find anything on it myself and if someone could be so kind as to direct me to a link to get my answers. thank you all so much.

Maybe the wires for the auto-eject feature?

Do they look like they are factory wiring? Or is it something that someone added at some time then removed...but left the wiring?

They can be a few things: side airbag deployment wire, side airbag sensor wire, power to the seat adjustment motor, and seat heater.

That's what it looks like to me also. Did you buy the car new, or could the previous owner have installed some kind of audio/video component? Yellow in audio components is usually the video feed.

I couldn't find anything like it under my seat, and no one else has said they have seen it, so it must be an add on.

definitely looks like wires for a DVD player. Check your trunk and see if the dom nav-tv converter is still in there somewhere near the nav unit.....

if so, consider yourself lucky!

The white plug looks like a factory type plug, not an after market plug...............

that is for a DVD player

most car dvd players/small dvd players use headphone plugs instead of RCA plugs because of their small size, and pretty much work the same.

the 2 wires with the white connector is power and ground for the DVD player
the other 3 wires is for video(yellow) and audio(black with 2 wires) and remote(black with 1 wire)
