found 2 '05 TL's....

i found two 05 TL's local and was wanting to know what the general consensus is about a fair asking price (OTD, TTL)

2: 05 TL Silver, A/T, non nav. 28,925 miles, asking price: $25995

I have a 05 TL w/o nav and have really never thought twice about it. IMO, that should not be a deal breaker.

It does. You can you ask it (not punch it in) to display the closest restuarants. Even as specific to type (mexican, chinese, italian, etc). Same goes for atms, gas stations, etc.

I was against the $2000 add on myself in the beginning. I mean after all are we not driving to work, or home 90% of the time? We have used it more than I would of ever thought. It's really nice in downtown ATL that's made up of one way streets that come and go. Seriously, some of our streets will dead end, and pick up a few blocks east/west, and at the same time 2 blocks south or north. Really nice when your out of town too, and trying to find your choices of places to eat.

By the time we are ready for another car, I figure having nav will give you another $1000 in value over a non nav TL. So really it will cost us $1000. It's almost paid for itself in 2 yrs in time, gas, and keeping the mileage lower.

I agree with both of Slamme_JDM's comments...get the WDP...it's the best. And you do not need NAVI if you have common sense...I have no regrets about not having it.

I recommend getting the navi even if you only intend to use it 5% of the time that you are in the car. In my opinion, it is a much slicker interface and makes the car look more like the luxury car that it is. Even when you are not using the navi, the touch screen buttons to control the audio system are very useful.

Jimi- on a used car, a navi vs non-navi is a $500 difference in price. It is well worth it. The 24995 for non-navi auto TL is not that good of a deal, unless they will throw in extended wtty. Think, you can spend just one or two more grand and get yourself a 2006 with navi.

Good luck and let us know what you get!

Everyone has their opinions on NAVI. After I got my TL, my wife with her non-NAVI MDX was itching for a new one, just to get this feature. F that, too much $$$!

I got her one of the Garmin units, and she (and I) both love it. It often has better directions than the TL system.

agree that that's not a good deal on the silver, not with that many miles. if u can get it OTD at 25k then it's a good deal depending on what state ur in and what the tax rate is. i would either go for the WDP with the low mileage or look around for an '05 navi model which u should be able to find for 25k not including tt&l.

oh...some of it depends where u are located. if there are not many tl's and if there is only 1 acura dealer in the state then the prices will be more expensive.
