"fog light" rewire?
Hey all,
Has anyone figured a way to rewire the "fog lights" on the TL so they are independent of the HIDs? i.e. so they can run without having to turn the HIDs on and/or run then with the parking lights? I've done this on my 98 Mustang GT and 2001 Toyo Tundra and it was a relatively simple tast. Just wondering if any electrical masterminds have put their minds to work yet. Not even sure if the electrical plan is even available yet, but figured I'd put a shot in the dark out there for anyone whose tried to do this mod yet. Thanks all, off to stare at the TL a little more........:p

I purchased a DRL module and just tapped into the fog light wires without re-wireing them( didn't have to cut ANY wires). I have it set up so that they come on when ever the car is running. You could easliy wire it so that they come on with the parking lights. You would have to wire in a an extra switch if you wanted to turn off while you have the lights on. I posted pics in the "daytime running light thread."page 4
Just a note I have mine set up to run at 75% intensity but you can have them run at 100% if you want.

I just ordered another Module for mine, one that automatically turns the drls off when I turn the lights on. The one I currently have doesn't turn them off, so my fog lights are always on at 75% When I get it, I plan on taking pictures of the install for anyone who wants to do the same.
