Fog light install??

Fog light install??
I bought a pair of projector fog lights to install in the bottom grills. Do I have to remove the bumper to remove these grills? If not what is the way to remove them? I figured I would ask before I started to mess it up!!
Thanks,
James

it depends...
if you have the A-spec underbody kit (Lip) - YES or remove the lip (I think removing your bumper would be easier)...
if you don't have the kit (lip)... then you don't have to remove the bumper... all you have to do is remove the grill inserts... they slide out away from the car (bumber) by pressing some tabs behind the bumper...

Removing the bumper with the a-spec lip on will not allow you to remove the lower grilles as the lower grill comes out towards the front, not out the back of the opening. You will still need to remove the lip, or, not advised but possible, deform it enough so that you can work out the grille.
Without the lip you just need to work your arm up behind the back of the bumper and unlatch the clips to remove the grille.

I just ordered projector fog lights from ebay, they came in chrome but I didn't like how they looked so I painted them NBP. As far as wiring I just unplugged the factory fog lights and ran the power to my new fog lights.

So are they Acura parts? Are they made to fit in the grill or do you have to fabricate some opeinings and brackets? Did you need to extend the wires by splicing or did they have enough slack to reach? More info please, they are so cool looking I want to add them soon, plus it's getting to the foggy season around here.

I bought wire from autozone i think it was 16ga. The foglights came with a bracket. I just popped out the grill and used a dremel to cut out the hole for the foglight. Once I had the bracket in place I marked it and bolted it to the bumper. Put some chrome trim on it from autozone. I used the wire that I got at AZ to go from the fog lights up to the stock wires.

The lights I got from an ebay store A&M Lighting and Accessories for $21 shipped. I took the front cover off and painted it black. The trim I bought off of ebay also pre-cut strips for $17. BUT..... if you go to AutoZone you can buy a big roll of it for $11. I also put stips on my door handles( which looks awsome on the NBP!)
