Is the wiring harness burned up? If not, you can switch to the 35W bulbs.

ok so getting a 35w bulb that will make them less bright right? probably obvious answer but learning about cars more now so the simple things conufse me a little.

is there a way so i can keep the 55w?

i read somewhere the tl cant have hid fogs because the fog cover is weak and it will melt through it or something like this.

what would i need to do so i can get hid with out putting the yellow overlay on fogs?
i have an 04 tl but i have type s aspec kit on so i have 07-08 fog lights and the fogs are connected with some accord cables.

ok i looked and is this right i need an hid kit with ballasts but is this also sold in 3k so i dont need to get overlay to have yellow fog lights?

whats the best kit to get for all this. money isn’t a factor so i wanna get this done the first time instead of reposting that my fog lights still wont work.

The bulbs are the same, the ballasts is what determines the wattage

ok i understand now but what do you guys think, is it worth going hids? it doesn’t look bad or it isn’t to much for a tl to get 3k fogs?

I have a wdp i would get 3k fogs i just like the combo of wdp and yellow fogs.

i have seen a video but not a good one of this done anyone have any pictures of wdp with 3k hid fog lights?

I had yellow bulbs non hid and the yellow light just wasnt what I wanted it looked like the drl (like piss) and I also read about potential damage to fog housing using hid so I took a chance with yellow overlays just bc they were like 3 or 4 bucks and I couldn't be happier the yellow is a deep yellow and I love it I'm sure it's not as bright as HID but I wasn't really going for brightness just color I would post pics but mine is NBP not WDP
