I bought a 2006 Acrua TL. Wanted a spare key and fob.

The FCCID for my fob is OUCG8D-344H-A, but EVERY 4-button replacement fob for "2006 Acura TL" is OUCG8D-387H-A.

The OUCG8D-344H-A is for "Honda" models.

Rather than re-order and play hit-or-miss, I thought I'd ask.

Does anyone know if a "Honda" fob with OUCG8D-344H-A will work with a 2006 Acura TL?

I don't see how I can edit the above post, but to clarify:

I bought a replacement fob with the other FCCID. I went through the programming steps. It programmed the fob I have (original) and didn't program the replacement.

It was only after calling the distributor that I found out about FCCID codes and that mine didn't match the replacement and that mine returns Honda models when searching the internet.

So, this isn't about me not knowing how to program a replacement.

It's about whether a Honda fob with the same FCCID will work with a 2006 Acura TL.
