Floor mats, im not sure where else to post this
Hey i'm not sure where i was supposed to post this, so i chose to post it in the problems and fixes to be safe.
i'm trying to buy all weather season floor mats for my 04 base TL.
The interior of the car is tan and i was looking at http://www.hondafloormats.com/tl/index.htm and they only have 04 in black! i was wondering if anyone knew if i could just buy the 05++ TL tan all weather season floor mats and put it in. I kinda want the floor mats to match the interior.
Thanks

Sean, you're actually in the main area of the 3G Community, and that's fine for your posting.
Based upon looking at the shape of both all season floormats, it seems as though they will fit. I'd call them, just to be safe.
Some of the guys might know if they will fit in your TL.

just got my weathertechs last week, couldn't be happier, very durable high quality stuff. priced a bit high at $115...but it's well worth it. gotta pay to play. check on eBay for their vendor, prices are the same as the website but i was able to haggle free shipping. any way to save a buck.

2004 mats are SLIGHTLY different than the 2005+ ones, 3 mats are the same, the rear passenger side mat is different. If you look at the 04 tl, the front seat's back left bracket is in the shape of an L with the plastic cover. On the 2005+ TL it's in the shape of an S so the mat won't fit properly, but it won't pose a problem what-so-ever.

what i think im going to do is...
buy front floor mats OEM tan
and for the back ima just get floorliners... people dont know how to sit in a car or something and get everything in the back dirty. gah

if you go the weathertech route get the combo deal. cost about twice as much as 4 mats but gives you the trunk mat and window visors
