Hey all! Just got a new 04 TL, anthracite, AT, w/navi, 32% full tint, 18" Piaa sport mesh, CompTech springs-on order, I just join the forum and wanted to say hello, it's great to have place to share TL info. Has anyone noticed just how flimsy the trunk lids are, compared to the rest of the car. I find this pretty odd. Closed the trunk the other day and tweeked the right corner underneath just above the hinge.Ouch!! , it seemed mis-aligned with the lock mechanism. Other then that, it's an awesome ride

 

Some early TL's were plagued with flatspotted tires, droopy headliners, misaligned glove compartment doors, rattling passenger doors, and cardboard trunk lids. Clearly, you need to return your TL and purchase an Altima instead.

 

Has any of this related to the fact that the TL is now made in Ohio instead of in Japan?
