ok so, this post was old but...

the K stands for Kelvin, and when someone uses it in reference to lighting, it refers to the temperature, or wavelength of light, lower kelvin lamps produce a more yellow to red light, while higher kelvin lamps produce a more blue to purple light. look at the progression in the colors of a rainbow, see a correlation?

I have not noticed it on mine, but it is cold and I only had my windows down once or twice?

Let me know so if it is an 05 problem as well, I can fix it before I get some scretches in the film.

Thanks, Mark.
Hi Mark, I believe the issue with tint scratching exists with the 05's as well as the o4's mainly because they haven't changed/modified the inner wiper blade in the doors. IMO, the best preventive action one can take is to install moleskin. Do a search on "scratched tint", I'm sure you'll find numerous posts regarding this topic. You'll also find some folks stating it's not necessary. If you can find a tinter who will guarantee replacement for scratches - go for it.

It does still exist with the 05's.

Didn't they do hot weather testing?

I have now replenished my stock of TL Mole skin and have kits ready to ship out.

Front and back

Do I need them on front and back doors or just front only?

Thanks, Mark.

Hi Mark, I would do all 4 doors (just to be sure), but I think originally the problem was more evident with the fronts (thought that was printed somewhere).
