welcome to the forum.
expensive to maintain? no...but that depends on how you are with your cars. i like to run synthetic oil/RP filters/racing ATF...etc etc...so i may pay a little more for my maintenance but it's by choice. overall, not expensive to maintain.
the TL performs very well in the snow if equipped with the right tires. FWD helps a ton.
insurance? i pay $130 a month but i don't have any tickets, any points, older than 25, and i have other stuff tied in with my state farm account. home insurance/multi car discounts/safe driving/etc...your insurance quote may differ bc of your age and driving history.
all in all, the TL-S is a great car. i haven't looked back since i bought mine last year.

I have had my 2006 TL for two winters while living in Ontario and have nothing negative to say with regards to winter handling and that is with approximately 75% wear on stock Michelin tires.
I recently bought 4 new Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires so I am anticipating handling this winter will be equal if not better!

Usman, this car is a Honda and Honda's are known to run forever. As far as good tires for this car, we have a Tires & Wheels Section. You'll find a lot of good ideas for all season tires. I got the Continental Extreme Contact DWS (Dry, Wet, Snow) and really love them for year-round excellence.

Best car i've ever owned dude. It handles great in all weather conditions. It's luxurious and sporty at the same time. I love it and always will. Acuras is the way to go. I do regret not getting my car fully loaded or in Type-s but i still love my baby.

It is not really that expensive to maintain. But I think you may spend more more mods than if you bought a Camry.
