Finally bought my first mod for my 04 TL! Starting off small with an Injen CAI. Can't wait for it to get here and hope I can figure out how to put it in Doesn't seem to hard to do though.

Do yourself a favor and remove the front bumper skin. It only has about 12 fasteners holding it on. There are many tuts on this. Good luck enjoy the sound and gains.

Congrats. You will find that it is just the start of an expensive addiction. Good luck, and enjoy that feeling!

Blake, welcome to AcuraZine. I think there is a DIY for the cold air intake install.

well, its done! I've successfully completed installing my Injen CAI. It took about 4 hours to do it all, but thats not to bad considering I've not really done anything but change my oil

I did notice there's a whistle when barely giving it some gas, it doesn't do this when I'm parked though. Also the engine light is on, but I'm sure I connected both hoses and sensor to the throttle body correctly. Should I be worried about this?

After going out for the night and when I started it to drive home the light went out, so I guess everything is back to normal!

Was really nice to be able to do this on my own rather than paying a mechanic to do it, makes the job and car so much more enjoyable! Now to plan on what to do next!
