OP, a word of advice from somebody that was in your shoes three years ago... DO NOT PUT ANYTHING AHEAD OF SCHOOL!! Especially modding your TL (that is if you pick to keep it). Cars, friends, and girlfriends come and go. How you perform in school now will ultimately determine the rest of your life.
I know most people are jealous of you because your getting such a nice car at only fifteen years of age, but they should be more jealous of how mature you are at that age. I know I am at least.
As far as which car to choose, take the TL hands down. I mean do you really wanna own a RX330 when you could have owned a TL instead?

Wow, talk about words of wisdom. Yes, get that degree, number one mission.
Believe it or not, I would pick the Lexus assuming that it has no cosmetic damage like the TL. And i like the 2004 model than the current one on the streets in terms of exterior looks.

I always thought of the Lexus RX as car made for the female drivers. No offense to the males that do drive one though.
If you are a car enthusiast and plan on modding your car, get the TL and at your age I think the TL would suite you better.
This is funny but very true. My mom has an RX and ever since she bought it, her driving skills has dramatically decreased. lol.

I'd definitely go with the TL. I don't know what the drivers are like in your area, but here in LA/Orange County, most people who drive a Lexus RX are Asian moms and they're awful drivers. So naturally, I'd pick the TL over the RX. But hey, this is just my opinion.

Already have 30% tints on the car, which looks great. Not too dark, but not too light!
Thanks for the tip!

I'm actually 16 and if it was my choice I would go with the TL. I don't even have a TL (I have a g35) so I'm a little less biased than some people here. Your parents will most likely be paying for repairs and maintenance so that's awesome. The Lexus is just a little more soccer-momish but there is more room in it if you have a girlfriend . Anyway, the TL will be more fun to drive and you'll definitely look cooler in it than the RX and resale value for both is excellent so I wouldn't worry about that. Also, why would you have an all wheel drive car in Florida?

p.s. the blue color is not really girly at all, in fact it's one of my favorite colors. If you do get the TL do either a stage 1 or 3 exhaust. It still won't sound quite as good as my G sedan with a coupe midpipe but at least it's stainless.
