Talking Finally!! I got the car of my dreams!!!

Hey TL Community! I am new to this forum and wanted to say hello. I am in the DC area. Any way finally found my dream ride and bought it 2 wks ago. I got an 04 TL w/NAV. I love this thing. I think is the most advanced car I have ever owned. Any way, I was scared cause I bought it for a steal, and it has 83k miles on it. But non the less I got it. It's that desert metalic color, any way my wife is mad cause I spend more time in the car playing with it to see what I can do than in the house.

Any thought or suggestions??

Thanks

Once I am done exploring the TL I will be back in the house. So what can you suggest for simple upgrades that won't break the bank??

Thanks

Ooo thought of some more...

Rear Sway bar (progress, comptech, h&r) (probably the best mod, in terms of bang for the buck, or so i hear)
Throttle Body Spacers
New Drive Pulley (smaller or same size)
Diy on Angel Eyes -

Congrats on the new car. It's an awesome feeling isn't it! I still get excited everytime I walk to my car after one year. As for mods, start of easy with some aesthetic improvements such as tint with moleskin, A-spec body kit, wheels, or lighting. Then move on to power things such as throttle body spacer, rear sway bar, intake or pulleys. I'm about to do the Dom's + Dice + 07 Accord fog light switch + A/V faceplate + rearview camera mod this weekend. All of these projects have wonderful DIY's (mostly in the 3G Garage) and there are plenty of qualified people on this forum to get you through anything. The search bar will be your best source/friend and should be your first approach to finding anything on here. Again, congrats on the new car and tell your wife she better get used to you spending time with the car because once you start modding.......

LEAVE IT STOCK AND INVEST!

First will be $20 on taillight LEDs and then next thing you know it is $4500 on a SC and $1000 on the fing gauges.

It is like crack

Congrats on the TL and welcome!

Congrats and welcome to the forum! As far as your first modification - I would suggest the rear sway bar; it really is the best bang for the buck! Dramatic change in handling and it's less than $200. Enjoy the new car!

Actually, start here: LINK for LED information. People going directly to Kennedy is probably a little over burdensome...don't get me wrong, the guy's a HUGE help, but we could stand to do him a favor and not make him the FIRST step. He's already posted A LOT of information we could study up on first.
