Who has the fastest TL on this site? any opinions?

You're all wrong, OMPrelude has the fastest TL. He ran low 13s, with his TL and mind you he just got more mods, so he might break into 12s.

DirtyJohn doesn't count because he doesn't drive the TL anymore, he got a new car, remember.

Accuratein is an automatic, so he naturally has the disadvantage over any S/C TL.

Type-S09 is a close second or maybe even a tie for first, he and OMPrelude are both S/C 6M/T.

 

what's type-s09's numbers with the S/C?

 

Just wait until Fsttyms1 is done with his then his will be the fastest.

The member type-s09 I think did the best job obtaining the quarter mile from stock '05 TL 6MT. His is almost stock. 13.99 sec quarter mile. I miss that dude... he doesn't come here anymore..

How about paul (againstallodds1) ran a 13.10 @ 108 with an auto s/c with a 35 shot and i ran a 13.50 @ 104 with a 6 spd with a s/c and cat back and thats it on street tires with 44 psi in em. Do a search you will find both.

 

We will have to see come next month...

Well never mind who's fastest, I just give em all props for being able to lug these things across the quarter mile finish line in under 14 seconds!

 

I Dont know how this site works right now but i got a 08 tl s with a cold air intake and a comptech usa supercharger . once i get a hang of this site you will know what im talking abouyt its also lowered 2 inches on tein suspension

 

Are you part of Comptech's R&D team? If not, you may want to inform the guys over in the "Performance" section that a supercharger is now available for the Type-S.

So you run faster than a 13.1 or is this another guess? I have a feeling you've never been down the 1320.

 

They're all different. 5AT or 6MT, S or Base, Nav or no Nav etc. My '06 6MT, non-nav reads 3482 on the registration and I've shaved ~40 lbs off of that.

Type S 5AT is the heaviest at ~3670.

Yeah, that's why a TL 6MT is as quick or even a bit quicker than a TL-S 5AT.

 

Anyone get 12's yet? That'll be tough, unless someone throws a turbo on the new TL type S!

Went shoppin' for the 08 TLS after my motor guy told me I should not turbo without the limited slip n a 6spd....

last 6spd n the Southeast was at Nalley on Cobb Pkwy....

it sold a month ago......

This time with the exhaust i hope to run 14.6..

 

damn thats hot. your lucky to be the ONLY type S supercharged.

on a sidenote, i did an engine swap and now my TL has a bugatti veyron engine. so im running in the low 5's.

 

Dude, you need a tune, ASAP. I have the Veyron mod and am running mid 4's in the quarter.
