I did a search and foud no results and did not get a reply to my original post, so here is my question:

Does the fctory glass (called temperlite) offer any uv protection? I found this link that explains what it is, but no mention of uv protection.

most likely, yes... just look as the glass it self, i bet it has UV printed on it... is it really that big of a deal anyways? get tint and you're good either way

Like we've said, twice, it's probably on the glass itself. If not, I don't know. I know the new TSX has UV glass in it from the Honda website and I would bet the TL does as well.
