Hey all - hopefully this doesnt cause any uproar with mods, but I came up with an idea.

We have been getting a lot of people on Facebook so we can get some instant communications for those of us with smartphones. Well, I have created a facebook group called "Acurazine".

If you guys want to join, go right ahead.

If any mods would like to PM me about any questions, feel free. I understand that this will entail some moderation on the facebook side of things so that I can keep the AZ name in tiptop shape and not turn it into a free for all on FB.

 

P.S. I have just created this group a few minutes ago. I will work on it a little this weekend and see what all I can do to make it interesting.

Perhaps I could have permission to use the AZ logo for our group logo? Hopefully me having a group on Facebook isn't considered some form of infringment. Just looking for a way to keep everyone in touch. Gotta update with the times ya know

 

Hey man, there's already an acurazine group out there with a few hundred members. It was created quite awhile ago, unfortunately I believe the topic is in the "off topic" section of the forum and hasnt gotten alot of exposure with regular posters in the automotive discussion parts of the forum.

 

Just did a search on Acurazine and I see the following:

Acurazine (my group)
Toronto Acurazine GTA (55 members)
626 Acurazine club (23 members)

unless I am missing something, or the group has changed - it looks like there are a couple "localized" versions of car clubs sporting the AZ name. I guess I would like to create / find out if there is just a generic AZ group on facebook. I know there is one now since I created it - but there is no sense in having 2 groups if there is one out there already.

Thanks for the input though, and if anyone has any info about this - please feel free to share

Sweet - works for me. I will be closing my group then. I wonder why this doesnt show up when you do a search in facebook?

Nevermind it does - when your logged in. Mods can close this thread if they want
