Was your warranty through Acura or another provider? I think I was ripped and purchased one from the dealer that uses an independent company. I remember the finance guy say it was 100% refundable. If that’s the case can I purchase it from Acura after the fact?

 

i think mine is thru acura care 7/100 it comes with lojack..i got it for 1500 i think

 

I bought the 7/75 extended warranty from the dealer at the time of purchase. The cost was $1,175 but the dealer cut the interest rate on the loan from 4.75% to 3.54%, so the overall additional cost to me was $660 over the life of the loan ($11 per month for 60 months).

The extended warranty is through Acura (Honda) Care. You can get a better deal through Warrantydirect.com, but I'd rather have the warranty through Acura.
