I had my car in for service and the dealership replaced the Master Cylinder on my clutch and a brake pedal assy switch on my brake pedal. Everything is fine now with the pedals but they didn't put the knee? panel (below the steering wheel, in front of your knees and above you shins) back together correctly. So I was wondering if anyone has a service manual or something that would give me an idea how to remove and reinstall this panel.
If you wondering why I didn't notice this at the dealership, it turns out that one of the service writers, leaves near by and he offered to drive my car home and take the loaner back for me. This saved me a 75 mile round trip and as you might imagine, I'm not real anxious to bring my car back to have this seemingly little thing fixed.
Thanks in advance!!

At the back of the panel there is a straight "cylinder" shaped pin extending from the back, that must fit into the slot above the gas pedals (if you look under the steering wheel you'll see where the pin slips in). After that there is a plug that needs to be inserted at the front of the panel on the lower right side of the steering column. It's one of those plugs that you must first insert a female "jack" that had four prongs that slip into the hole, then a pin type plug is inserted into the the jack forcing the prongs apart.
Hope this helps.

Part 8 is the panel and part 3 is a rubber sleeve that needs to be in place or it may rattle. As I recall this panel panel doesn't come out easily because the front panel #7 clips into it.
Remove #14 push pin
Pull out panel #7 a bit
Insert the lower panel
Press panel #7 back in
Check the HVAC sensor tube is connected (clear plastic pipe w sensor)
Insert #14 push pin
