I noticed that the server may have choked and dumped a good bit of the information recently posted relating to the Exhaust Harmonic issue. I have a TL 6MT on order for a March build and am quite concerned about this problem, so I wanted to revive the issue to collect as much info as possible.

My primary questions are:
1) How to reproduce?
2) 6MT / 5AT or both?
3) Dealers: How many have you encountered? Any luck reproducing it reliably?
4) What has been acknowledged by Acura and is there any Acura-source documentation (emails, bulletins) regarding this issue.

I realize that there are three potential issues: Transmission, Tires and Exhaust Harmonic. The first two can be fixed; however, without the willing involvement of Acura Corporate which seems unlikely at this point, the third cannot.

I've already promised my CL Type S to my wife who is currently driving a 10 year old POS Saturn, so I feel committed to the purchase, I just want to be well armed with knowledge of the issues before I discuss this with my dealer.
