I like the groove and the front. I'm not so sure about the tail lights.

The interior looks fine, but I don't think it's as nice as my 2000. The dash is getting way too Pontiac for my taste... a frightening trend.

OMG! I'm so glad I decided to look at old post to see what people forst thought of the car. Most of this thread was actually hating on the car when the pics were first taken. LOL

Its not that it looked different, but people were too use to their 2Gs and hadn't seen it in person.

Besides that I looked at threads right after release of the 3G and all of a sudden these "haters" were in love with the car hahahaha.

My first impression of the 3G TL was actually at a General Motors "test-drive" event. This is where GM sets up several cone courses and brings all their cars, and some of the competition, out for people to drive & compare.

Well, it turned out that my brother, best friend and I all loved the TL (automatic) so much (out of 100+ vehicles) that we ended up driving it 9 times around the cone course. At one point I got so overzealous with the car that I ended up getting a black-mark (and the boot) for squealing the tires around the entire course. We were immediately in love.

Flash forward two years and I'm driving all the way to San Diego (from Las Vegas) to get an 05 6mt...
