Ever notice this?
have you guys ever noticed that the auto transmission will not shift if the car is not level? this exact same thing happens in my v6 accord, not quite sure why, I always thought it was because of the transmission issues the accords (and some early 3g tl's were notorious for).
I actually had the front of the car lowered on tein stech springs, (had the front done and needed to get the rears done the following day) but for the time I drove it that way i noticed the transmission would sometimes have a delayed shift (still smooth shifting, just a bit delayed). Instead of finishing the drop on the back, i ended up just raising back the front to the original height. found the stechs dropped fairly low, but i can attest that the ride feels exactly like stock. after being lowered for a day my car seems too high now, may end up just dropping it again all around, but i'm a bit worried that if the car isn't perfectly level, could this put strain on the transmission? I change the transmission fluid every 3 oil changes anyways..
any thoughts on this?
