I used to a lot more when I had a fast weekend car. Not really much anymore. I think once I start modding this car that may change, but it will never be like it was in the past until I get another project car

Yep. It's a great time to follow that road you pass from time-to-time and say to yourself, "I wonder where that road goes?" (as a matter of fact, this is on my profile page: "And you may ask yourself, where does that highway go to?")

I prefer to take a drive in the country. My wife prefers in the city. The kids hate both.

Of course when I was a kid and we went for a "sunday drive", I hated it too.

Ya, I think all of this, not everyone would understand. We just love our TLs. The more I mod it, the more I like driving around in it for no reason.

I like going to a crowded downtown area, and see what other folks are doing at local bars and such. but I don't get out, I just look around.

Im on the road 9 hours a day and still like to go for those drives. Its a different mind set from working and having a relaxing drive.

I know the cops that always cruise around my neighborhood are probably wondering why I drive in circles around my town at odd hours of the night.

Oh yeah... frequently. Where I live, there are quite a few very nice country roads on which to enjoy a nice leisurely ride. I call this my "TL moment". Since I am not working, I do this just about everyday either on one of these roads or a short trip through Manassas. Puts things in perspective and makes me feel good.

yea man, i do it every morning..i got about 35 mile commute to the office...i go against the traffic on a nice big ass highway..very relaxing and it wakes me up...

night times tho its the best...riding is one of the main reasons why i want a bike, to just ride...

Since the TL is not my daily driver, I do this often. its fun to just cruise and clear your mind.

Now, its been a couple of days since I've had the SRT in my possession. I will have it for a month. I can tell you that I've been driving that beast every chance I get. Its such a fun car and that torque really clears your mind. feels like a roller coaster!

I have thought about doing this and when I had a late night craving, I went out for a bite and it's so much better when you're the only car on the road. I just need to find more windy roads.

yeah i do this all the time. if i am ever stressed, the girlfriend pisses me off, or i just wanna get away.

just grab my keys n go for a spin around town, usually incorporate some errands in the process. i find it relaxing to cruise around, put the windows down n play some decent tunes. some people equate driving with headaches, those people don't have a TL.

i also do this whenever i do something to the car. could be anything from an led mod, to mm delete w/ resonator replacement. i always like driving my TL, especially when something has been recently done to it.

I actually find it relaxing to wash my ride... of course driving is good for clearing the mind, BUT riding the motorcycle now that is pure therapy.

i agree, driving around in your car with no destination sometimes could be relaxing but make sure your mind stays on the road, dont rear end other cars like my friend did, that wont be fun

right now, i'm still trying to find all the rattles in my car so driving is not fun yet

Yes I do it but I regret doing it when I have to gas up a few days sooner than I usually do. Now driving other people's cars is relaxing

I used to drive to the beach in the middle of the night, just for the hell of it. Recently, I haven't done it. It is always great to drive around the beach areas at night with ac blasting or windows down and listening to all the techno my little heart pleases
