Most of my friends are into euros and almost weekly im riding in one of their jetta's, r32's, 135's etc and have come to really like their wide angle side mirrors.
If you guys dont know what they look like here is an idea:

The outer most portion allows for a wider angle view. They are really handy when you actually have them. And theyre not :theghey: like those little stick on circular ones people use.
My question is could these be made for our cars? Ive researched if they're are any aftermarket companies that make them but usually the euro car manufacturers are the ones that sell them. Anyone have any ideas??

I recommend the MultiVex Mirrors highly, highly, highly....... Did I mention how much I love these (see link below)
By the way, the MultiVex are real glass, not cheap junk. Mine still looks brand new after three years. I feel that this mod is HIGHLY under-rated on our forum. Why mod your TL to go fast/quick if you can't quickly and safely change lanes.

I was thinking more along the lines of a mirror replacement though that you can purchase similar to what people purchase for the vw's and bmw's etc. Same quality glass as oem and allows for the heater but with a wide angle on the outer half.

Okay, so we conclude that these aren't made for our TL; so that leaves us to only one idea (OMG): Find someone who will make these for the TL.

The MultiVex Mirrors *are* made for the TL.
As I stated in my post in the MultiVex Mirrors thread, having the MultiVex Mirrors being attached to the oem mirror allows the MultiVex Mirrors to stick out further from the recessed mirror housing. This is a good thing and necessary. If the MultiVex Mirrors was in the same location as the oem mirror, you would just see the side of the mirror housing.
Having the MultiVex Mirrors attached on to the oem mirror is a good thing and a necessity in my opinion. Furthermore, the outstanding quality of the MultiVex Mirrors do look like OEM once attached to the oem TL mirror.
The only downside is that the oem heater function will be lost.
