Erase code OBD

TL 2006.

i had recently gotten a error (27 and 70) for changing my switches for 3rd and 4th gear.

is there a way to reset/clear the codes in the OBD or will it clear by itself?

I usually just go to advance auto and have them reset the codes.

OBD readers are now very cheap ($20 shipped)--you can easily read and erase the codes yourself. http://www.ebay.com/itm/U480-OBD2-OBDII-LCD-Car-AUTO-Truck-Diagnostic-Scanner-Fault-Code-Reader-Scan-/121010242995?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item1c2cc5c5b3&vxp=mtr
