'05 TL is Toast! Anyone in So. Cal looking for nice leather seat covers or something else, HMU. I may just donate it to the local high school auto class or Kars-4-Kids. It was a nice 20yrs, but it's time to move on. It'll cost me WAY more to repair everything than to just let her go...

 

So what exactly gave up or failed to turn you vehicle into “toast?”

 

I believe it was driven with little to no oil. Something is DEFINITELY wrong with the engine now. The car will start (barely) drive a ways and then die out. Yes, it has gas.
