I didn't know I should not be doing this. I did an oil change at 1000 miles.

I just read a post saying I should not do this. What can I do now? Please help

what is MLEP? If you're so worried why not just change the oil again? Also, since you're in the break in period still, shouldnt you be using havoline 5w20 for its high molybdeum content similar to the factory break in oil?

Relax dude. I suggested that Havoline 5w-20 is sufficient for its high MoDTC content so no MLEP is needed. If you were to use a MoDTC additive, I'd use Synpower Oil Treatment instead since it has more MoDTC (2300+ppm vs. MLEP's 400ppm). MLEP will add 40ppm or so to your oil versus Synpower's 200+ppm.

Havoline 5w-20 has more than enough MoDTC @400ppm, but if you're really concerned about the insufficiency of MoDTC even in Havoline, then feel free to use 4 quarts Havoline 5w-20 plus one full bottle of Synpower Oil Treatment, but do realize that you'll be creating a 5w-30 like oil (but will not hold its 30wt status), but I personally think that thats just plain overkill.
