Electronic Stability Program(C & D info)

Car and Driver just reported that with the electronic stability control [program] drivers are 50% less likely to get in a single car crash, and 50% more likely to survive a single car crash. I don't know exactly how the second percentage works but the first one is good enough for me. The TL is equipped with a four channel system, correct( I saw someone turning on ice once and there rear inside wheel locked up)? So I am assuming the TL has this. Just thought this was good information.

nothing beats all wheel drive :-)

that is the only thing I miss from my audi....... but all the bells and whistles make up for it! Plus, I live in Houston, so i dont have to worry about ice.

Not to mention, if you hit ice and start to slide, you are screwed (coming from experience in an AWD audi)

awd will help you get going on slippery surfaces but will not be that big a difference when you lose control trying to turn the car. the traction control(esp, vsa, tsc or whatever you want to call it) will apply brake on the required wheel to try to regain control of the car.
